4ward Sciences Executive VP/COO: Bob Johnston

I grew up as a U.S. Air force dependent and, after school in London, England, entered the U.S. Navy. After my uniformed stint I went to work as a Civilian for the Navy. I worked in the areas of Missile flight analysis, design and fabrication of telemetry receiving stations, and supported many OT&E projects. Five of those years were spent working with the Air Warfare Division of the Navy’s Operational Test and Evaluation Force in Norfolk, Virginia.

Twenty five years ago, I migrated to the Government Contractor world. I worked for one small business and then, over the years, assisted in building two 8(a) companies to what I would call medium size – with sales from forty to sixty million annually. Positions I held were Program Manager, Vice President, Senior VP, Executive VP and President of an employee-owned company. I started in the field of Range and T&E support and upon being one of the founders of 4ward Sciences retired from a company strong in IT services. I have extensive experience in capture planning, capture, staffing and the management of assets to accomplish the mission. My greatest strength is in Strategic Planning for growing a company.
